This month he gave a talk at the ‘Great Minds’ Lecture, which was in association with LSM, about The English Language and the Spoken Word.

Senior Lecturer, Chris Hainstock: we had a great talk by Nicholas Parsons CBE. Big thanks to soon-to-be-graduates Henry Willmot & Kamil Rewers for filming before and after the event, Mr P preferred the talk to be ‘live’ only so the lucky ones inside got to hear his witty and thought provoking tales. Who knew he spent 5 years as an apprentice engineer on the Clyde in Glasgow?!
