Not content with becoming a BT Storyteller for the London Olympics, cycling around the UK and hitting the national press headlines, it turns out that Tom went to the BT BOA Ball in October and made a film about it, which he has just posted on YouTube:

Recent Media Production Graduate Tom Mallion is cycling around the UK as part of his BT Storyteller role.  “I was as shocked as anyone when I turned to page 54 in today’s Daily Mirror (Nov 25th) to find that I had a full page spread on my TwoWheelDocs series…and I’m loving the James Bond image too, although I feel my cover may have been blown! Thanks to Laurie Hanna for the excellent article.”

Olympic Games presenter opportunities

Working with a production team, the presenter’s role will be to entertain and inform the public before, after and during events. After my job as an editor at Isis Media came to an end I got a job at Sky and moved to London.

I’ve been working as an Edit Co-ordinator in Compliance for the last 8 months but I’ve just got a promotion to ‘Editorial Compliance Executive’, which is a permanent job. Moving to London was a huge lifestyle change for me but now I’ve settled in I’m loving it and have managed to move up the career ladder pretty quickly. Looks like I’ll be staying down here for a quite while.

George Horne Update

Last summer, George Horne , who now works as a the Director of Film and Photography at Proof Studios in Leicester, took time out between commercial commisssions to help two student friends in Creative Advertising make a short film.
