1215.today is a major LSFM/Arts Council project that commemorates 800 years of the Magna Carta with an online platform that gives young people (aged 14-24) a space to debate and create. Organisers said: We are inviting a filmmaker, animator or artist / maker / practitioner working with moving image to work with us in the development of a new artistic digital commission. Artists do not need to have previous experience in working online as they will be supported through the process by expert creative technologists. Artists will need to be open to new ways of working and welcome critical conversation and collaboration, particularly with young people. By looking, listening and talking about societal and individual rights explored across the breadth of art forms, we aim to agitate and engage young people to create work about big issues. Here are the 1215Today Film Commission application details. Deadline is 8th May 2016.
