Media Production 2008 Grad Kaz Bielecki is the Artistic Director of the first Neurodivergent film festival produced in the UK by the award winning Arts organisation DYSPLA. It works “internationally in film, immersive theatre, installation & digital art to shed light on Dyslexic Narrative and the Dyslexic Aesthetic.” The University of Lincoln School of Film & Media will be screening the winning entries of this film fest on Wednesday 21 March, 1.30-3pm in the Stephen Langton Building (Brayford Pool campus).
LSFM’s Senior Lecturer Marcella Forster said: The festival showcases work by dyslexic and neurodivergent filmmakers. Festival organisers will introduce students to the winning films and there’ll be an opportunity to ask them questions about the festival. All our students, staff and graduates are welcome to attend.
Head of LSFM Professor Steven Peacock gave a warm welcome to current and former students at the School’s alumni industry networking event Meet the Graduates. Thanks to all for participating. Our Grad Question Time was hosted by Steve Smailes (Class of 2012) with alumni from 2002 to 2017 who shared their experiences, tips and advice about the world of work – at home and abroad. We loved the live link-up with video editor Philip Roberts (Class of 2006) from Crytek in Frankfurt.

On Wednesday 8th November join this gathering between our alumni and students – staff too! MtG 2017 is your on-campus opportunity to connect with like-minded creatives and make industry links. Here’s your invitation to Meet the Graduates (MtG) 2017 alumni network event between our former and current students. Head of Lincoln School of Film & Media Professor Steven Peacock posted: We hope you’ll join LSFM on the afternoon of Wednesday 8th November 2017 at Brayford Pool campus for the great gathering between our graduates and students. I’d like to meet you, so hope we can connect at MtG.
MtG 2017 will be in the Stephen Langton Building. Our network event will start at 12.30pm with a buffet lunch for alumni. At 2pm LSFM students will have the opportunity for an audience with alumni at the popular, frank, Graduate Question Time. From 3.30pm there’ll be a networking session; one-to-one between students, fellow grads and staff over a drinks reception.
