Nokia Push: New deadline

Hurry!

From Abby, at Nokia Push:

The deadline for Nokia Push N8 submissions has been extended to Friday 22 October 2010 at 6pm GMT.

We’ve been blown away by the variety and quality of the submissions we’ve received so far. But we had so many requests for more time to develop ideas that we decided to listen to the community and push the deadline back.

So, this means there’s still time to enter to win a prototype, Nokia N8 devices and a cool $1000 to cover your production costs.

Please submit your ideas and help us spread the word!

Tweet tweet

The distinction between songs and calls is based upon complexity, length, and context. Songs are longer and more complex and are associated with courtship and mating, while calls tend to serve such functions as alarms or keeping members of a flock in contactWe are now on Twitter, so if you are too, standby for lots of tweets, and do join in if you like. We are already following alumni e-mail contacts, and we hope this will be a good way to flag up new blog posts. Crow’s Eye Productions (Lincoln)

A few months ago we went on location with LSM graduates Nick Loven and Chris Roberts, not to mention Nick’s mum and Chris’ sister, costumier Pauline Loven – collectively Crow’s Eye Productions.

Based in Lincoln, Crow’s Eye specialises in Lincolnshire heritage, and earlier this year we caught up with them on a cold and misty day at Goltho Church near Wragby, rehearsing scenes inspired by Fiona Mountain’s novel “Lady of the Butterflies“. Nick and Chris reflected on their work:

Meet Nick and Chris at our first Alumni Day, November 10. Continue reading
